Product description

The Mini II Bass is here to expand your horizons and your registers! Based on our popular travel-sized Mini, the Mini II Bass is slightly bigger and features an extended 580mm (22 7/8”) scale length so it tunes perfectly to Standard E.

Keep it acoustic and the Mini II Bass's deeper body depth will provide a well-rounded tone; use its Cordoba MB103 pickup to plug it in and you'll be surprised by this portable bass's rich, robust tone. Built with all-mahogany woods, the Mini II Bass MHE's unique voice is mellow, soft and balanced. Strung with nylon core, phosphor-bronze strings, the Mini II Bass feels and sounds more like a full size bass than its miniature bass counterparts. With the Mini II Bass MHE, you'll never have to leave the low-end behind!
I really enjoyed playing the Taylor mini acoustic bass in the store, but the sound of it plugged in was just OK. That then told me I should gravitate to another brand that might be cheaper. In that respect the on board electronics work as expected. The buttons are a bit small, but accessible.

The abalone around the sound hole looks fantastic.
Just unboxed this mini bass and I am nothing short of impressed. The mini bass far exceeded my expectations. Great sound, good action and a fantastic feel. I bought this bass for something to bring along when I go away and don’t want to bring a full size bass but I feel I’ll be playing it a lot more than expected. For the price this mini bass is an absolute steal!!!

It's less than 36" so will fit into a small acoustic gig bag, or maybe a regular size electric gig bag for that matter.
It fit in my electric bass guitar just fine. Not sure what type of gig bag you have. I had to return the mini bass as the the place where the battery box was attached, had two screw holes cracked and hollowed out. Also, all four of the tuning machines had the washers free floating but it had the jams nuts tight. Every
